Christmas promotion and online partnerships

I used to run a web business that sold a course on tantra.

In my web business, I had already approached a number of similar websites and asked them to promote my product.

They had agreed, and would put up little pictures of my product on their websites, and some would send out emails to their database telling them how great it was, etc etc.

In fact, I would actually give them the emails to use - emails I had written myself to make it really easy for them to promote the product - all they had to do was open the email and hit 'send'.

Every Christmas, I would pull out the same email promotion from last year, send it to my partners and tell them to send it out to their customer database.

And each year, they would send it out, the sales would come in automatically, and we would share in the profits of this easy-to-do Christmas promotion.

I gave them 50% of the profits from the promotion as a thankyou for their help.

All the sales were tracked online by software, so I didn't have to do a thing...

... except to check a report on the software to find out who to pay commissions to, and how much to pay.
