I'll give you a bit of background on 3 separate occasions where me and the media became great friends to make me more money.

But wait !

Fashion warning:

I had a photo shoot done by one newspaper when I was a long-haired hippy doing tai chi to demonstrate health and energy principles.

At the time, I thought I looked awesome, and I received some good feedback.

One friend said I looked a bit scarey.

Now I think I have to agree with her.

Anyway, they used those photos in the newspaper articles.

I bought the rights to the photos for $50, put them on a computer disk, and sent them along with future press releases for other newspapers to use, to make it easy for them to write a cool article without doing much work (ie, to easily promote me to their thousands of readers).

I also used the photos in my other promotional stuff - sales letters, business letterheads, and so on, for an overall theme to my business promotions.

Some of the scans of the newspaper articles are very large, so they might take a bit of time to load over the internet - please be patient...
