Show that other people trust and respect you -

Let other people say what they think of you

 

You must get your current and old customers to say cool stuff about you, and put their words up on your website as 'the story of a happy customer' of yours.

Preferrably, ask them for a pic of their lovely smiling selves, and put that up next to their quote.

It can be a bit challenging and humbling to the ego to go up to your customers and ask them to say what they really think about you and your service.

But you will get great feedback (mostly positive, plus some areas where you can grow)... and for that reason on its own it is incredibly valuable.

But it will also grow your business in leaps and bounds if you then use it right.

It is really, really important.

 

This one step will make a huge difference to your sales and reputation.

People want to know whether other people were happy with your service.

It is the major decision-maker people use to decide whether or not to buy with you.

 

What did other people think about your service?

What do other people think about you?

People really want to know this stuff.

 

So make it easy for them... tell them on your website.

It's not ego.... this is legitimate stuff that people actually think and believe about you.

This is what they have experienced.

This is reality.

So put a bit of reality up on your website that will actually help you grow your business.

 

Who do you know who would give you a really good reference about your business?

A good friend? A dear customer? Your favourite students?

I'm sure some people's faces will come to your mind.

 

Ask them - even though I have always felt a bit racked with nerves when actually going up to them to ask... they always smile and say yes.

Give them a bit of paper and a pen, and ask them to write down their thoughts.

Or you can use this feedback sheet for them to fill out.

 

Tell them you are looking for feedback on your business, and looking to grow, and you would appreciate their totally honest help.

Let them say it in their own words, exactly how it is.

Then ask if they would mind if you put it up on their website.

 

I have never had a single person say no.
